ACE - The Association of Canal Enterprise 
ACE was founded in 1982 by a small group of newly-formed businesses in the Bath area seeking to develop services on the Kennet & Avon Canal.

AINA 
The Association of Inland Navigation Authorities (AINA) is a membership body comprising 27 navigation authorities in the UK who own, operate and manage some 5,000 km of inland waterways.

Bedford to Milton Keynes Waterway Trust 
The Trust is a founder member of the new Project Partnership, launched by British Waterways, to support the construction of the Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway. The Trust is helping to fund and inform the initial Feasibility Study, and will be organising public consultation on the findings.

Broads Authority 
The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is a unique area of water, grazing marshes, fen and woodland, and home to some of the rarest plants and creatures in the UK. It is Britain's largest protected wetland, having similar status to a national park.

CEEQUAL Ltd 
The Civil Engineering Environmental Quality Assessment and Award Scheme is an awards scheme assessing the environmental quality of civil engineering projects, promoted by ICE, BRE, CIRIA and a group of committed industry organisations. BW is a project partner on the scheme, has been instrumental in its development and in 2003 received two of the schemes awards.

Inland Waterways Association 
The IWA gives its support to canal societies throughout the country, co-operating and advising on projects which are restoring hundreds of miles of waterways.
Inland Waterways Advisory Council 
Advising Government, navigation authorities and others about the use and development of the inland waterways of England, Wales and Scotland.
ISIS 
ISIS has been established by British Waterways with a national focus to further unlock the regeneration potential of its 2,000-mile waterway network and is a partnership with AMEC and Igloo Regeneration Fund. It will deliver regeneration schemes on previously developed urban land working in partnership with local authorities, public agencies and public and private landowners.
Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust 
The Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust was formed in 1988 and is a registered charity. It campaigns for the restoration of the Lichfield Canal and also the Hatherton Canal through Cannock.
National Association of Boat Owners 
The National Association of Boat Owners (NABO) is dedicated to promoting the interests and concerns of boaters on Britain's canals and rivers.
National Federation of Anglers 
The National Federation of Anglers (NFA) is one of the country's largest sporting bodies.
National Water Safety Forum 
The National Water Safety Forum has replaced the National Water Safety Committee (NWSC). The aim of the Forum website is to be an open and accessable source of information for Forum members, water safety professionals and members of the public who are interested. Specically the website will; advise the public and operators about the different areas of water safety, promote good practice, develop a web-based listing of relevant resources and provide links to all members and relevant organisations.
NCBA 
The National Community Boats Association aims to encourage and support community boating organisations within the UK to use the history, arts and environment of the waterways, as resources for learning and regeneration.
Notts Waterside Ltd 
Nottingham Waterside Limited has been formed between British Waterways and Nottingham Regeneration Limited (which comprises Nottingham City Council, East Midlands Development Agency and the private sector) to repeat the success of Castle Wharf elsewhere in the city.
Port of London Authority 
The PLA has statutory responsibility for the conservation safe navigation of 150 km (95 miles) of the tidal River Thames from Teddington to the sea.
Ramblers' Association

Established in 1963 the Residential Boat Owners' Association exists to act in and to further the interests of boat dwellers on the coasts, rivers and canals of Britain.

Scottish Environment Protection Agency 
SEPA is the public body responsible for environmental protection in Scotland. Its main aim is to: 'provide an efficient and integrated environmental protection system for Scotland that will both improve the environment and contribute to the Scottish Government's overall purpose'.
